Here have a Double Bullet Picture Spam and Rambling Review!

Stephen here. So yeah I broke into my first post-otakon kit. The Master Grade Age-2. Its the 3rd AGE-2 MG I've built as I already have the AGE-2 Normal and the AGE-2 Dark Hound.

Triple AGE-2 Gundam Splendid
Bandai was nice enough to give you the parts for the binders from the AGE-2 Normal. Nicer Still they designed the shoulder to support both the DODS cannons and the binders without having to do any modding!

I'm Sexy with the cannons AND the Binders

As standard for the MG Line very possible can do your own poses and re-create anime scenes of course. The weird legs that the MG AGE-2 has become known for make its return. Learn to live with em, they aren't the worst legs, but they aren't best either, but they will get the job done.

Seriously what does holding my hands like this do?!
It has much better beam effect parts for when the dods cannons aren't on the shoulders. Makes the effect stand out much better then on the HG. They don't move quite the way you would want though. Mainly  cause its all ball joints, one joint and some type of latch mechanism would have been better.

So much melee, mobile suits wanna die for me

Well This rambling review is about at its end. I'm gonna say if you like the AGE-2 or the Double Bullet get it.

Good Points
      - Looks cool
      - Great possibility
      - Extra Parts provide easy customization options for the lazy modeler
      - Great Effect parts
      - Its the Age 2

Bad Points
      - The legs
      - Cannons could have been designed a bit better
      - Nubs could have been placed better
      - Those damn swap-able finger hands

Now for more damn photos!

Gundam Seed Destiny remaster; A quick look.

Dave here, We are going to talk Gundam Seed today!
Most  of you by now that after the Gundam Seed remaster Sunrise quickly rolled out the Gundam Seed Destiny remaster.
However for those who may not be aware this post will cover some basics!

I have been following it week by week just to see what improvements have been made and things of the like and so far one thing I can say is that they have increased fan-service by a good bit. (To the point of actual nudity in some episodes).   I suppose... that is one way to bring viewers back..  that being said and aside the actual animation quality has gone up substantially.

As you can see on the left, is the original version and on the right is the HD Remaster.
The image is much clearer and much more detailed.
In this case the head of the Sword Impulse has almost completely been altered.

To give a second example here we have this.
The left being the HD R  and the right being the original.

As far as story goes it is still the same for the most part however, like the Seed HD remaster completely new scenes have been or will be added. (They just don't interfere with the story at all)
In the future we will be seeing the Strike Rouge with the new Ootori striker pack that is being released with the Master Grade in September.    The image bellow will show this.

The top image shows the Rogue using the new Ootori pack.
The bottom image if you can make it out shows the original Aile Striker-pack.

I won't go into the scenes with naughty bits for obvious reasons, just know that they are there so do be aware of that if you are watching this in a somewhat public place (^^;)

This will wrap up my quick look at the improvements of art quality within the HD remaster of Seed destiny.  Once more, NOTHING has change to the story for the most part, it is just all visual updates from what has been seen up to this point.

 Until next time!  Dave out!

What is in the oven?

Just tossing up a quick post to go over the current in progress kits that Stephen and myself have been working on.

Stephen has almost completed his Age-2 Double Bullet MG that he obtained at otakon.
As for myself, I am still working away at my MG Jesta, which may take a little longer due to time constraints as of late, however we hope to bring you some good photo's and a review once they are completed.

Update concerning GBWC

It has been brought to our attention that there was a mis-communication at Otakon, the true entrys for the GBWC were being kept in the Artist alley in the 'No photograph' zone.

My apologies for any confusion and thank you to the Reddit user who informed me of this.  - Dave

Spoils of the addict part 2. - Dave edition.

Spoils of an Addict

Alrighty folks, this is Stephen, the S in S&D Gunpla. As you have seen Dave and I are back from our (mis)adventure at Otakon. I bought a lot of kits and I believe these will be the starting point for Micro Reviews. Whats Micro-reviews you ask? Well are you ever out and see a kit and want to impulse buy but have a little more info on it? That is where Micro reviews comes in. Quick, concise, 3 or 4 minute (haven't decided yet) Videos that give you the good, bad, and possibilities of a kit. It won't be the massive in depth video collections like Rrobbert184 or or 10 min videos like Jabman, but enough to give you a general idea. Please look forward to it.  - Stephen

Seriously what the F**k did I just do to myself. :/

Post-Otakon 20.

Hello there all! Another Otakon has come and gone and with this one in particular it has brought for us some photographs of some of the kits that were set up at the Bluefin booth in the dealers room.

A quick video of these kits can also be seen on my Youtube and you can find the link on the left of our blog!

I hope you enjoy, some are not the best but with how busy it was I am amazed I was able to get what I did.     - Dave
